Something to do with the stateful nature of settings pages on the Pebble Android app has become unreliable.
Try editing this value and backing out of the settings page, either by pressing the back arrow on the nav bar, or by using the "Close settings through pebblejs://" button and notice what happens upon reopening settings.
Repeat this process a few times, and notice how upon reopening settings the value of the slider changes (the slider is simply loading its value through localStorage when the page opens).
